Getting started

• How do I get started with HQ2?

  Call us at (773) 238-5555 any time and leave a message, or fill out our intake form online — our office is open Monday through Thursday, 9am to 2pm. A member of our team will reach out to learn what you're looking for and help you schedule your first appointment. All services are by appointment only, and you can usually be seen within 24 to 72 hours of reaching out.

• Who can receive services at HQ2?

• Do I need a referral to make an appointment?

  A referral isn't required to request an appointment. If you have an HMO insurance plan, you may need to bring a referral to your first visit, so check with your insurance provider ahead of time.

• Do you see children, teens, and families?

Telehealth visits

• What do I need for a telehealth visit?

  A smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone. We use Theranest/Ensora for telehealth visits, and we'll send you the app download or browser link ahead of your appointment — just log on about 1 to 2 minutes early so you're ready to start on time.

• Can I meet by phone instead of video?

  Yes. If phone is easier for you, we can meet that way instead — just let us know what works best when you reach out.

• What happens if my call drops during a session?

  Call us at (773) 238-5555 right away and our team can help you reconnect or get your session back on track.

• Can I meet with someone in person?

  Most sessions are by phone or video, but in-person options may be available depending on your needs — let us know what works best for you when you reach out.

Insurance & cost

• What insurance do you accept?

  We accept Medicaid and Medicare, and clients without insurance are still welcome. Reach out and we'll walk you through your options before your first appointment.

• Do you accept Medicaid and Medicare?

  Yes, we accept both Medicaid and Medicare.

• What if I don't have insurance?

  You're still welcome at HQ2 without insurance. Reach out and we'll walk you through your options before your first appointment.

• What does my first appointment cost?
